As the Engineering Operations Manager, you will oversee the technical and maintenance functions within our prestigious hospitality establishment, ensuring superior quality and effective energy management.

Core Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Direct the Engineering Team in daily activities, ensuring exceptional service and equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping department to prioritize maintenance tasks for guest accommodations and communal spaces.
  • Establish protocols to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and the operational integrity of all equipment.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Prepare financial plans for capital improvements and maintenance initiatives.
  • Conduct routine assessments throughout the facility.
  • Manage emergency procedures related to elevators as necessary.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure all fixtures and fittings are maintained for safety and address any concerns promptly.
  • Develop and implement emergency response and energy efficiency programs.
  • Supervise renovation projects to guarantee quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Promote sustainable practices and equipment usage.
  • Monitor and enhance Key Performance Indicators for the engineering department.
  • Oversee all personnel activities, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and training.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of facility management and engineering principles.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in financial planning and management.
  • Positive demeanor with outstanding communication abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • High standards of personal presentation and adaptability to various situations.
  • Able to work autonomously and thrive under pressure.
  • Experience in facilities management is essential.
