Role Summary
The Materials Planning Teams at TE Connectivity are pivotal in orchestrating the plans, schedules, and oversight of material flow throughout the production cycle. They assess the quantity and order dates for materials to align with production or engineering timelines, initiate purchase or production requisitions in accordance with supply agreements, and formulate the production schedule based on forecasts and historical data analysis.
This role is ideal for a meticulous and organized Production Scheduler who will be instrumental in enhancing production efficiency, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining an optimal equilibrium between demand and supply. A profound understanding of manufacturing processes, effective communication, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders are essential for coordinating various facets of the production workflow.

Qualifications
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Prior experience as a production scheduler in a manufacturing environment, specifically with moulding scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software systems, including SAP.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee production scheduling for moulded plastic and rubber items, plating, and secondary operation requirements.
• Arrange weekly production planning by ensuring the release of production orders for each value stream and achieving alignment with the production team during weekly and daily meetings.
• Monitor the execution of production orders daily, track variances, and implement corrections to ensure adherence to the production plan for each value stream.
• Assist in coordinating production cells to maximize efficiency.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and meet customer delivery timelines.
• Perform production-related administrative tasks.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
• Participate in meetings with Engineering, Purchasing, Production Departments, and other stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Keep an updated capacity definition for select production work centers based on demonstrated output.
• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of all supply-critical fields within data systems related to the assigned work centers.
• Create and revise production schedules based on orders and capacity.
• Collaborate with teams to execute plans effectively.
• Work with production supervisors to optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production goals.
• Monitor inventory levels for raw materials and work-in-progress.
• Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory.
• Share schedules with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to adopt best practices.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators for insights.
• Provide reports on production performance.
