Quality Assurance Manager

A challenging opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a global manufacturing organisation and contribute to the success of a specialist automotive manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting to the Head of Quality, manage a large team of Quality professionals, including Quality Engineers, Technicians, Auditors, and Metrology specialists.
- Act as the first point of contact for OEM and internal customer concerns, leading 8D problem-solving activities and delegating work to the team.
- Audit systems and processes to IATF16949 standard, utilising data on quality defects to improve quality processes.
- Identify areas for quality improvements and implement changes using six sigma/lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site quality.
- Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure, working closely with other internal business functions to aid in NPI activities across APQP and PPAP submissions.
- A competent Quality professional with proven management experience within an automotive tier 1 or OEM background.
- HNC/ Degree in a technical subject.
