MEICA Operations Manager

Advance TRS is seeking a dedicated MEICA Operations Manager to enhance our operational team within a joint venture framework. This role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery of MEICA services at our designated site.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the full life cycle of MEICA quality and consistency, from project initiation to commissioning handover.
- Guiding the design phase, ensuring that project engineers are equipped to provide early MEICA input into design development.
- Establishing a consistent approach to the review of supply chain submissions during the detailed design phase.
- Collaborating with Heads of Design to assess the quality, timeliness, and consistency of design outputs.
- Supporting Programme Managers with resource planning and addressing any MEICA-related issues that arise.
- Overseeing MEICA construction quality and addressing any challenges that may occur.
- Developing a comprehensive MEICA procurement strategy in collaboration with Programme Managers, Procurement Manager, and Operations Lead.
- Managing Project Engineers and M&E Supervisors across the framework.
- Regularly meeting with regional delivery leads to ensure consistent MEICA delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with National and Local Technical Standards across all projects.
- Conducting performance reviews with MEICA teams and implementing processes to drive excellence.
- Providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Identifying potential risks associated with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
- Planning diligently to maintain site compliance with Southern Water SCO procedures.
- Chairing meetings to demonstrate risk review and mitigation strategies.
- Understanding MEICA subcontractor contract conditions and associated risks.
- Ensuring all projects are executed with zero health, safety, and environmental incidents.
- Innovating and implementing processes for consistent project delivery.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Extensive experience in leading a large MEICA team.
- A strong background in managing MEICA operations.
- In-depth knowledge of the water supply industry.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a multi-supplier environment.
- Understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract.
- Capability to influence internal stakeholders to align with MEICA strategy.
