Are you a passionate dog lover looking for a rewarding career? **Join our team as a Doggy Daycare Operative and Driver at Kent Dog Walker** Our business has been established for 10 years and growing bigger by the day.

At Kent Dog Walker, we believe that every dog deserves a fun and safe environment to play and socialise. As a Doggy Daycare Operative and Driver, you will be an integral part of creating that experience for our furry friends.

We are looking for an individual to join us on a **part time basis**, the contracted hours would 32 hours per week, **10:30am to 6:30pm** 4 days per week between **Monday to Friday**. You would be entitled to a 1hr unpaid break. This is an **employed position**, paid at **£11.50 per hour**.

In the near future we may be opening up this service to include pick up and drop off for our clients to come inline with the rest of the services within the business. You will need to be over the age of 25 (for cover of our fleet insurance) and willing to adjust your role to include driving our fleet vans to pick up and drop off the dogs to their homes. Full training of this extra responsibility will be provided at the time. We will also need a full clear DBS check to be provided before the date of hire.

There will also be overtime available when covering for other team members annual leave and days off sick.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Organise and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, mental stimulation exercises and also down time with rest periods.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitising play areas and equipment.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and handing the dogs back over at the end of the day with a little report about how they’ve got on during their day.
- Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Genuine love and understanding of dogs, with a commitment to their welfare and happiness.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- **Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent (Essential for this role).**
