We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Cancer CNS team on a fixed-term basis. Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Functioning as an independent practitioner, effectively coordinating and delivering a high-quality nursing service in the field of Breast Cancer.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of patients, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based nursing care, oncological management, and facilitating patient discharge.
  • Providing comprehensive clinical and social support to patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout their journey.
  • Leading the advancement of evidence-based clinical nursing practices in alignment with current research and established guidelines.
  • Establishing effective communication channels within the specialty team to ensure cohesive multidisciplinary management of patients.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the operational enhancement of both inpatient and outpatient services for breast cancer patients.
