Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to work as an Interim Senior Production Planner for Newly Weds Foods Ltd. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a small team of planners and coordinating the production workflow for multiple products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement deliverable plans for the 4 key manufacturing processes at multiple levels of aggregation, for multiple time horizons, as part of a planning function.
  • Oversee the overall planning function, ensuring maximum performance is achieved at the right cost.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used to create the most optimized plan.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with operations.
  • Support the day-to-day planning function during holidays, sickness, and training.
  • Work closely with both the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure the whole supply chain is optimized.
  • Facilitate and manage planning/customer meetings to achieve coherence within the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent, MBA preferred.
  • 3 years previous experience of working within an FMCG environment, ideally food, with a proven track record of supply chain, demand planning, and customer collaboration.
  • Previous experience of working with multiple SKUs as well as a hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of developing systems and working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills in statistics, planning, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, Temporary position.
  • Contract length: 6 months.
  • £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year.
  • Yearly bonus.
