Role Overview

The Senior Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all facets of procurement operations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across various departments engaged in procurement activities. This leadership position will report to the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement and will be instrumental in formulating and executing company-wide strategies aimed at enhancing strategic sourcing, spend management, and supplier relationship management (SRM) for key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management within the organization.
  • Lead or assist in sourcing and contracting for significant direct and indirect agreements, serving as the Commodity Leader for various materials and services.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Supplier Management program, ensuring alignment with key business requirements and supplier performance metrics.
  • Oversee the procurement of Retail and POS merchandise, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and budgetary constraints.
  • Direct the raw materials and brewing ingredient procurement team to align forward contracting with business objectives, while conducting risk assessments and monitoring commodity indices.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, inventory management strategies, and sustainability efforts to maximize procurement value.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, setting performance standards and fostering continuous improvement within the procurement team.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement to develop a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Training program that encapsulates best practices in sourcing, procurement, negotiations, and contracting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, or Supplier Quality Management.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in Procurement Operations or related functions.
  • Proven negotiation experience across various categories.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and suppliers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
