Senior Procurement Manager

Role OverviewThe Senior Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all procurement activities within the organization. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement, this leadership position will focus on developing and executing comprehensive strategies that enhance sourcing practices and supplier management across the brewery.
Key Responsibilities- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary expert in Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management, guiding various teams in best practices.
- Sourcing Leadership: Lead sourcing and contracting initiatives for significant agreements, serving as the Commodity Leader for essential materials and services.
- Supplier Management Program: Establish and maintain a robust Supplier Management framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supplier performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Brand Management to procure Retail and POS merchandise that reflects the Sierra Nevada ethos.
- Raw Materials Management: Direct the team responsible for sourcing brewing ingredients, ensuring alignment with business strategies and risk assessments.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies for cost savings and sustainability, maximizing the value of procurement activities.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach procurement staff, setting performance standards and fostering continuous improvement.
- Training Development: Collaborate with the Director to create a comprehensive training program focused on strategic sourcing and procurement best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in Procurement or Supplier Management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven negotiation skills across various categories and contract values.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building effective partnerships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
