Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Event Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to advance their careers within the events sector while working with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of food and event setups.
  • Oversee and mentor event staff, promoting a collaborative and efficient team atmosphere.
  • Manage operations for our external food service, liaising with partner venues to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Handle procurement for events, including necessary supplies such as crockery and linen.
  • Develop staff schedules and coordinate agency personnel as required.
  • Conduct end-of-event reporting for the broader team.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and manage inquiries effectively.
  • Present menu tastings to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Create seating arrangements for events and manage dietary considerations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Head Chef, including updates on front-of-house inventory.
  • Ensure front-of-house areas are well-maintained and presentable.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of events and gatherings.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding experiences.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as event schedules dictate.
  • Experience in a kitchen environment, with knowledge of allergies and dietary needs.
  • Proficient in computer systems such as Excel and Microsoft Teams, or quick to learn new software.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A proactive individual who enjoys hands-on involvement in their work.
