Server and Storage Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Specialist to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our Digital Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining our server and storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Support: Provide advanced technical support for Windows servers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for server and storage infrastructure, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime.
- Automation & Scripting: Automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell), and maintain centralized script documentation to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all server and storage systems, including security controls, applications, and dependencies, to ensure easy access and understanding.
- Digital Projects: Provide technical support and project management for digital projects, including designing, implementing, and testing new server and storage infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in managing Windows servers and working knowledge of Linux server environments.
- Strong experience in disaster recovery planning and backup management.
- Proven ability to automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Participation in an out-of-hours support rota, providing 24x7 infrastructure and applications support.
