Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Specialist to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our Digital team, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining our server and storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support Windows server and storage infrastructure
- Collaborate with the Digital team on the development and enhancement of existing and new systems and infrastructure
- Contribute to digital projects and cybersecurity initiatives
- Provide advanced technical support for Windows servers and Linux Server environments
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for server and storage infrastructure
- Automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all server and storage systems
- Provide technical support and project management for digital projects
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in managing Windows servers and working knowledge of Linux server environments
- Strong experience in disaster recovery planning and backup management
- Proven ability to automate tasks using scripting languages
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Participation in an out-of-hours support rota, providing 24x7 infrastructure and applications support
