About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing programmes of care, and implementing and evaluating these programmes to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to babies and their parents/carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment of care needs and development of programmes of care
  • Implementation and evaluation of programmes of care
  • Day-to-day management of the clinical area, including supervision and deployment of staff
  • Maintenance of clinical and staff governance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in neonatal care and experience in leadership and management. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
