Job Summary:



Development and implementation of appropriately tailored Planning practices to support the delivery of projects and programmes.
Supporting the development/production and analysis of business data by using Project Planning tools, techniques, and processes to inform business decisions.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure good quality baseline and current plans are in place and maintained with buy in from key stakeholders.
Producing and analysing scheduling data with accuracy, identifying, and forecasting trends to meet targets, and managing projects to time, cost, and quality.
Providing support to PM&C Managers to enable effective cost, planning and scheduling, risk, opportunity, and resource management.
Supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities and learning from experience.
Working cross-functionally across the Project Management & Controls functional teams to contribute a coherent position on programme performance, risks, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement Planning practices to support project delivery.
Support the development and analysis of business data using Project Planning tools and techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure good quality plans are in place.
Produce and analyse scheduling data to inform business decisions.
Support PM&C Managers in effective cost, planning and scheduling, risk, opportunity, and resource management.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Contribute to cross-functional teams to inform programme performance.

Requirements:



Demonstrable PC literacy to an excellent standard through academic qualifications and/or examples of using IT packages to analyse and present data.
Ability to study to a Level 4 Qualification.
Have English and Maths – C and above at GCSE or level 2 equivalent.
Understand the principles of Planning and Project Control processes.
Evidence of professional behaviours.
