The Role
We're seeking a highly organized and motivated Social Media Strategist to drive the development and execution of impactful social media strategies. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our social media efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, adapting content to suit different platforms.
- Lead on day-to-day management of our social media channels, increasing reach and engagement, and working with the media team to manage any issues.
- Collaborate with the social media team to coordinate content across all platforms.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, in the right tone, accurate, and delivered on time.
- Identify new growth opportunities by monitoring cultural trends, analyzing trend reports, and staying aware of emerging social platforms.
- Analyze competitor activity and encourage the social team to share insights.
- Create engaging multimedia content across platforms by brainstorming creative concepts, presenting disruptive ideas, and capturing the attention of our target audience.
- Maximize audience interaction and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Delegate projects to social media executives, support them with posting, and conduct regular meetings to ensure all social media goals are met.
- Oversee the monthly social calendar, ensuring optimal content for brand promotion and channel growth.
- Serve as the go-to expert for all things related to AYBL's social media, staying updated on daily developments in the social media landscape.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for the field and eagerness to learn.
- Skilled in utilizing various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
