SEN Activity Playworker - After School Club
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Activity Playworker to join our team at Junior Adventures Group. As a SEN Activity Playworker, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our After School Club.
Key Responsibilities:- Support children with SEN in a safe and welcoming environment
- Engage children in sensory activities and games
- Supervise children during After School Club sessions
- Provide individualized support to meet the needs of each child
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and inclusive environment
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and understanding when working with children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
