CareTech Group's Fostering Support Group (FSG) seeks a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to foster positive relationships between FSG, foster parents, and children's social workers.

This crucial role ensures foster parents effectively support children in placement and achieve desired outcomes within the foster family. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, guiding foster parents to understand and adhere to regulations, national standards, and CareTech Group policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with foster parents, children's social workers, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to foster parents in understanding and implementing regulations, national standards, and CareTech Group policies.
  • Ensure foster parents are informed and equipped to effectively care for children in their placement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for children within the foster family setting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Worker, familiar with OFSTED regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in multidisciplinary and multi-agency collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota (every 4 weeks).
