Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Defence. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients and customers
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food service
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to ensure profitability
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
