Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked at all times
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to ensure that our food offerings are innovative and exciting

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
