Role Overview

The Onboarding Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our contractors, sales partners, and internal teams. As the primary point of contact during the onboarding process, they ensure seamless execution of background checks, compliance, and onboarding requirements for all candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough background checks, including referencing, criminal, education, employment, and credit checks, to ensure candidate suitability.
  • Adhere to client and internal onboarding requirements, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Issue contracts to candidates in accordance with internal and client procedures.
  • Audit and administer provided documents to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct checks on limited companies to prepare contracts for issuance.
  • Perform peer-to-peer audits on compliance packs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Attend regular training sessions on compliance matters and legislation to stay up-to-date.
  • Manage onboarding cases through a workflow tool, ensuring efficient and effective processing.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Update contractor onboarding status for sales partners and online portals.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain data integrity for all information entered into key systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with peers in other departments and sales partners to support business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and advice to consultants and contractors on policies, compliance, and relevant information.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of onboarding and screening processes, visa requirements, and recruitment laws (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft and Oracle packages (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience working in an office or administration environment (desirable but not essential).
