Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our Facilities Department at Butlin's. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are executed efficiently, ensuring that tasks and objectives are being met by the team, and that team members are in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to deliver exceptional service, complete planned and reactive maintenance work in a timely manner, and carry out works for all our entertainment venues, restaurants, bars, and public areas of the resort both internally and externally. Having specialism in electrical, plumbing, or working at heights may be an advantage, and knowledge of up-to-date health and safety policies is beneficial.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, including weekends, so flexibility is essential. As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same, and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your top priority.
About You We are looking for an experienced leader from within a maintenance environment who can support the team to deliver fantastic service. You should have previous experience in leading within a busy facilities or maintenance environment where a balance of efficiency and quality is important.
You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards. The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even at periods of high demand, is crucial, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
