Key Responsibilities- Build trusting relationships with children and young people, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
- Ensure the safety and security of children, creating structured routines and activities that foster their development.
- Organize and lead recreational and educational activities that promote learning and personal growth.
- Support children's educational progress and personal development, working closely with teachers and other professionals.
- Collaborate with team members and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all childcare regulations and policies.
- Experience working in a care setting with young people, preferably in a residential environment.
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral approaches, attachment theory, and child protection policies.
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and PVG registration.
- A full driving license and ability to work flexible hours.
