About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Support Specialist to join our team in Fife. In this role, you will provide vital support to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to children in a 2:1 staffing ratio in a residential setting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet the emotional, physical, and social needs of each child.
  • Foster strong relationships with the child, offering guidance and support through their personal development.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in UK-based children's residential or secure care services.
  • Full UK driver's license with access to a vehicle (due to the location of the services).
  • A caring, resilient, and empathetic nature.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
