About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Child Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people, supporting them with early trauma and emotional behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working effectively as part of a team of child support workers
  • Providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people
  • Supporting service users with early trauma and emotional behavioral difficulties
  • Taking service users out into the community and to school each day
  • Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
  • Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards

Requirements:

  • Previous 6 months prior experience in UK working in a residential setting with young people
  • Flexibility in the roles undertaken
  • Strong communication skills
  • Register under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving license
  • Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
