Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Scotland Construction business in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage applications for payment from subcontractors and prepare applications for payment to clients.
  • Monitor and measure actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports).
  • Lead on the management of claims and disputes to achieve suitable resolution.

Requirements:

  • Excellent contractual knowledge covering JCT SBCC and NEC contract conditions.
  • Prior experience of working within Main Contracting organisations on high value projects.
  • Highly skilled in dealing with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage claims and dispute resolution successfully.
  • Capacity to mentor and oversee more junior commercial staff, aiding their development.
