Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial aspect of projects, from tender to final account.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead projects from tender through to final account stage, ensuring accurate project cost forecasts and smooth daily commercial operations.
  2. Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management, to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  3. Provide commercial support to operational teams and stakeholders, assessing compensation events and issuing early warning notices as necessary.
  4. Prepare and issue subcontractor documentation, including contracts and payment schedules, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of commercial management and subcontractor procurement.
  2. Experience in fast-paced, high-volume project environments, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  3. Strong capabilities in risk management, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling large datasets, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
