Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a background in the water industry and a strong understanding of commercial management and subcontractor procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead projects from tender through to final account stage.
  2. Produce accurate project cost forecasts.
  3. Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
  4. Ensure smooth daily commercial operations on projects.
  5. Prepare and issue subcontractor documentation as required.
  6. Assess compensation events and issue early warning notices when necessary.
  7. Provide commercial support to operational teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  2. Experience in fast-paced, high-volume project environments.
  3. Previous involvement in the water sector, especially on MEICA projects.
  4. Strong capabilities in commercial management and subcontractor procurement.
  5. Proactive approach to managing risk and seizing opportunities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling large datasets.
  7. Ideally, prior experience in water projects.
