About the Role

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) UK is seeking a highly skilled Business Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their travel needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients, ensuring that their travel requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with emergency actions, contingency plans, and out-of-hours requirements to ensure seamless travel operations.
  • Ensure that client travel policies are adhered to correctly, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the appropriate offices, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Ensure that all administration tasks, both internal and external, are completed to the highest standard, meeting the required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide support and assistance as required to colleagues, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
  • Assist with all reservations and aspects of travel, including air, hotel, rail, and car reservations, as well as any other travel-related requests received from clients and partners.
  • Offer travel advice for various scenarios, ensuring that clients receive expert guidance and support.
  • Be fully conversant in all operational working practices, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Assist with any additional tasks required as a business priority, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to go above and beyond.
Requirements
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Proven attention to detail and quality standards, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Extensive industry experience in all areas of the reservation process, with a strong understanding of travel management operations.
  • Sound, proven SABRE/GALILEO GDS skills, with an excellent understanding of fares and ticketing.
  • Ability to turnaround fare recalculations and ticket reissues quickly, demonstrating efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and use own initiative to resolve problems and find solutions, promoting a culture of self-motivation and accountability.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating a proactive response to client servicing at all times.
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Adept in using Microsoft Office software, with a strong understanding of industry-specific tools and technologies.
