Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airside Team Leader to join our team at Swissport. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft and passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage flight plans, weather reports, and passenger documentation to ensure seamless aircraft operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate aircraft loading and fuel management.
  • Operate air bridges and stand guidance systems to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround.
  • Develop and maintain a positive feedback culture by managing employee performance and ensuring high workplace standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Swissport's corporate safety and security procedures to meet regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of expectations and goals.
  • Conduct daily shift briefings and perform regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for maintenance of assigned equipment, materials, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in airport operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 32kg as required.
  • Valid driver's license.
