Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airside Team Leader to join our team at Swissport. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft and passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage paperwork for flight crews, including flight plans, weather reports, and passenger lists.
- Understand and interpret aircraft weight and balance calculations.
- Communicate with flight crews and load control departments to ensure accurate fuel and load data.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure aircraft are loaded and prepared for departure.
- Prioritize tasks and manage the turnaround of aircraft from arrival to departure.
- Operate air bridges and stand guidance systems.
- Develop and maintain a positive feedback culture by managing employee performance and ensuring workplace standards are met.
- Operate various airline and Swissport computer systems and handheld devices.
- Ensure compliance with Swissport's corporate safety and security procedures to meet regulatory standards.
- Encourage collaboration and consistency by facilitating clear communication at all levels.
- Ensure maximum efficiency in the operation of inbound and outbound flights.
- Report any conflicts or irregularities and take appropriate action.
- Perform daily and weekly assessments.
- Conduct daily shift briefings.
- Responsible for maintenance of assigned equipment, materials, and documentation.
- Contribute to local emergency plans.
Requirements
