Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: UK

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Working Hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at The Recruitment Co. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process purchase ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Provide strong support to the finance team, utilizing Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze and report financial data.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses an AAT Accounting qualification or is working towards one.
  • Experience with accounting software packages such as Sage.
