Lead Legal Content Editor, Corporate Law

About the Position
As a Lead Legal Content Editor in the Corporate Law division, you will leverage your extensive legal expertise in corporate and commercial law to develop and sustain a diverse array of legal resources.
Your primary focus will be on content related to English corporate and commercial law, while also overseeing specific materials pertaining to Scots law.
Collaborating within a team of seasoned professionals, you will engage in a variety of compelling legal and editorial tasks, including:
- Crafting precise, current content for digital platforms that aligns with prevailing legal standards and fulfills business objectives and client requirements.
- Commissioning, evaluating, and refining contributions from both internal and external authors.
- Ensuring that all assigned content remains current and meets the quality and scope necessary to satisfy business goals and client expectations.
- Cultivating relationships with external contributors to enhance content quality and gain insights into legal practices.
Additionally, the Lead Legal Content Editor will:
- Aid in the development and promotion of the Corporate and Commercial practice sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure the achievement of business objectives, including direct engagement with clients.
About You
You are an ideal candidate for the Lead Legal Content Editor role if you possess:
- Significant post-qualification experience (in England & Wales) and some familiarity with Scotland as a legal practitioner specializing in corporate and commercial law, whether in private practice or in-house.
- Expertise in drafting terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services.
- Proficiency in confidentiality agreements and general contract law, including standard provisions.
- Knowledge of document execution, company formation, and administration.
- Experience in private mergers and acquisitions and partnerships.
- A strong passion for writing, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
