Lead Legal Content Editor, Corporate Law

Overview of the Position
As a Lead Legal Content Editor specializing in Corporate Law at Thomson Reuters, you will leverage your extensive legal expertise in corporate-commercial law to create and uphold a diverse array of legal content.
Your primary focus will be on English corporate-commercial materials, with additional responsibilities for select Scots law resources.
Collaborating within a dynamic team of seasoned professionals, you will engage in a variety of stimulating legal and editorial tasks, including:
- Developing high-quality, current content for online platforms that accurately reflects prevailing laws and practices, aligning with business goals and client expectations.
- Overseeing the commissioning, assessment, and refinement of both internally and externally produced content.
- Ensuring all assigned content remains current and meets the necessary quality standards to fulfill business objectives and client needs.
- Cultivating relationships with external contributors to enhance content through insights into legal practices.
Additionally, the Lead Legal Content Editor will:
- Contribute to the growth and promotion of the Corporate and Commercial practice sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other business units to achieve organizational goals, including engaging with clients.
Candidate Profile
You will be an ideal candidate for the Lead Legal Content Editor role if you possess:
- Significant post-qualification experience in England & Wales, along with some exposure to Scottish law, as a legal professional specializing in corporate-commercial law, whether in private practice or in-house.
- Proficiency in drafting terms and conditions for goods and services.
- Expertise in confidentiality agreements and general contract law, including standard provisions.
- Knowledge of document execution, company formation, and administration.
- Experience in private mergers and acquisitions and partnerships.
- A strong interest in writing, complemented by exceptional attention to detail.
