Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor key infrastructure using bespoke tools to identify potential issues before they impact our customers.
  • Provide timely and efficient support to the live production environment, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Collaborate with the IT Operations team to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of service quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of computer networking and Cisco technologies, as well as Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from the Network Operations Centre, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Conduct daily tasks to ensure production systems are functioning correctly, and measure the impact of system, policy, or procedural changes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the production IT service and associated infrastructure for internal departments and senior members of staff.
