About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Aggreko. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and undertake maintenance activities within defined operating procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations.
  • Provide first-level technical advice to customers and resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.
  • Work on the maintenance of Aggreko products in line with production schedules, product quality, health and safety, and cost targets.
  • Assemble and repair Aggreko products, including fuel and cooling system hoses, pipes, and fittings.
  • Use air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment, and measuring equipment.
  • Work to high-quality standards and escalate quality issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with direct team members and wider manufacturing cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in the mechanical and electrical field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • NGG experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong knowledge of service and repair methods.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Availability to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid local driving license.
