We're looking for a Depot Maintenance Specialist based out of our Lomondgate site.

What you'll do:

  • Complete repairs and overhauls on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets
  • Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards
  • Perform the total maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain stock levels of materials required and ensure the necessary tools are in place and ready for use
  • Report and document component failures
  • Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment
  • Assist, support, and train service crew
  • Test and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators and prepare test reports as per ISO standards

You'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Education to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (including apprenticeship)
  • Experience in servicing and repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Ability to keep vehicles to GSCS standards
