We’re looking for a Repair Technician for Jebel Ali, who will be focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. You will coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures and, also conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulation. You will provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you’ll do:

The Repair Technician will report to the Lead Technician and work on the Maintenance of Aggreko products in line with the production schedule, product quality, health and safety and cost targets.  Assembly of Aggreko Manufacturing products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentation Troubleshooting/Diagnosis/Repair/Assembly/Overhaul/Refurb of Aggreko Products Assembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings Assembly & Sub-Assembly of fabricated components Mating and torquing of flange assemblies. Use of air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment and measuring equipment Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise Work in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider Manufacturing cross-functional teams where required. Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects and activities Maintaining work area in a safe and tidy working condition Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience At least 2-5 years of experience in the mechanical and electrical field. Knowledge on Mechanical and Electrical repairs NGG Experience Preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems. Understand and interpret engineering drawings. Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential. Excellent verbal communication Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail. Availability to travel as and when required. Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.
