Depot Maintenance Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Depot Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Lomondgate site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and overhauls, meeting standards and budgets
  • Adhere to safety practices and quality standards
  • Perform total maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain stock levels of materials and ensure tools are available
  • Report and document component failures
  • Contribute to team performance by providing quality workmanship
  • Assist, support, and train service crew
  • Test and evaluate refurbished generators, preparing test reports according to ISO standards

The duties outlined above are the focus of the role, but you may be required to perform other duties that are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • Education to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (including apprenticeship)
  • Experience in servicing and repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Well-organised and capable of maintaining vehicle to GSCS standards
