Chef de Partie Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Ginger Recruitment Services Limited. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring timely delivery and presentation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Control: Participate in menu planning and maintain control records for ordering, costings, and stock levels.
  • Kitchen Team Management: Work closely with the kitchen team to minimize wastage and ensure efficient stock rotation.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Actively engage in ongoing training and support the development of junior kitchen staff.
  • Profit Targets and Guest Satisfaction: Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen by working collaboratively to achieve profit targets and maintain guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment, ideally within a pub or similar setting.
  • Passion for Quality: Passionate about using fresh, local ingredients to create outstanding dishes.
  • Reliability: Must be able to reliably commute to the site as no accommodation is provided.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen efficiently.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
