Job Summary:

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our client's team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a positive Health and Safety Strategy throughout the site operational teams.

About the Role:

  • Operate a full hybrid policy involving site visits and working from home to aid a positive work-life balance.
  • Offer appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety matters.
  • Create and implement practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the safety and operational teams regarding implementing a positive safety strategy.
  • Create positive relationships with the sites to help improve the Health and Safety Culture across the business.
  • Work closely with underperforming sites and form strategies to help them improve and improve upon safety standards.
  • Be a key member of the team to help feed into and develop a positive safety strategy.

Requirements:

  • A Health and Safety Diploma Qualification.
  • Experience within an operational Health and Safety environment.
  • Experience of developing and implementing a Health and Safety Strategy.
  • Experience managing a team within Health and Safety will be beneficial.
  • A Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience of managing multiple locations within a previous role.
