Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust health and safety management system that ensures the well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  3. Provide Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures, and ensure that they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  4. Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  5. Maintain Compliance: Ensure that our organization remains compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, including ISO 45001 and UK HSE legislation.
  6. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of health and safety, and to ensure that our organization's health and safety objectives are met.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the construction or building envelope sector.
  2. Qualifications: NEBOSH certification and experience in maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation, COSHH, and risk management principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
