Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Provide Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures, and ensure that they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure that our organization remains compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, including ISO 45001 and UK HSE legislation.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of health and safety, and to ensure that our organization's health and safety objectives are met.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the construction or building envelope sector.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH certification and experience in maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation, COSHH, and risk management principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
