About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Garden Clinic in Slough. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality sexual reproductive healthcare to patients accessing our service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, non-judgmental sexual health care to patients, demonstrating professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, offering a range of services including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, contraception, and HIV.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing students, promoting their development and growth.
  • Take an active role in the leadership and management of the nursing team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse - Adult qualification.
  • Experience in fitting and removing Long-Acting reversible contraception.
  • Teaching qualification, such as ENB SLICE/998 and/or teaching experience.
  • Independent Prescribing qualification, or willingness to work towards.
  • Higher degree in a related field.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
