About the Role

  • Provide clinical leadership support and professional direction to the team
  • Develop and implement health promotion and education programs for children and young people
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced School Nurse Specialist Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school nursing, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

Essential Criteria

  • First-level Registered Nurse (degree level) with NMC registration
  • Evidence of post-registration education and training at HE level 6
  • Practice Assessor/Supervisor competent
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification (SN)

Desirable Criteria

  • Contraception and Reproduction Health qualification
