About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from design concept to serial production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance strategies for new product introductions.
- Lead Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on system, design, and process.
- Review product quality historical data and provide reliability predictions.
- Take an active role in design and test reviews.
- Manage product/field risk assessments as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Requirements
- HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline (Degree desirable).
- Related experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably in new product development.
- Regular use of APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP.
- A thorough understanding of Engineering drawings & specifications.
- IT literate - Microsoft packages, SAP experience preferred but not essential.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision.
- Assertive and excellent communication skills.
- Logic-driven decision maker.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
