We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to minimize EHS-related risks across our sites.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee EHS operations for our facilities and manage a team of reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate initiatives.
- Develop and administer environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Partner with site management to ensure applicable EHS-related goals and regulatory requirements are met.
- Perform supervisory duties for the EHS Department, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and career development.
- Provide advice and assessment on EHS-related risks, including biological agents, chemical safety, waste management, radiation safety, and more.
- Bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Sciences.
- Extensive experience working in a laboratory or research and development setting or similar chemical or high-hazard industry.
- Occupational Hygiene and Environmental qualification desirable but not essential.
- Professional memberships, such as CertIOSH or BSP Level 1/RSP Registered Biorisk Specialist, are ideal.
