Position Overview

Dennison Commercials Ltd, a premier dealer in heavy-duty vehicles, is on the lookout for dedicated Full-Time HGV Mechanics/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialists to join our team.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing a range of tasks from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, including electrical systems and mechanical disassemblies and reassemblies.
  • Executing repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Adhering to Standard Times for repairs and utilizing specialized tools as necessary.
  • Assisting in the diagnostic process to identify vehicle issues.
  • Following warranty protocols during repair processes and ensuring proper documentation upon completion.
  • Collaborating with the parts department to guarantee the correct components are installed.
  • Conducting road tests on vehicles when qualified.
  • Providing assistance during roadside emergencies as needed.
  • Reporting any vehicle issues to the Workshop Supervisor promptly.
  • Completing service documentation in line with company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate time records and job cards.
  • Keeping the workshop environment, tools, and equipment organized and in good condition.
  • Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Supporting the training and development of apprentices and new team members.

Essential Skills

Experience in servicing, construction, and production processes is required.
