About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Podiatry team, working closely with our clinical staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Podiatry team, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Answer and deal with telephone enquiries in a professional manner, seeking guidance as required.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain accurate records.
  • Order and maintain stock supplies, and prepare for and attend appraisal meetings.
  • Participate in relevant training programmes required by the Trust.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent, relevant experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing needs of a service.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Standard IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of clerical/office procedures and administrative systems.
