Job Opportunity for a Seasoned Childcare Professional

Location: Southwest London

Salary: £30,000 - £44,000

Permanent, 3-5 days per week (51 weeks)

A reputable childcare nursery in Southwest London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional childcare services, leading and inspiring a team of professionals, and fostering strong relationships with parents.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. They will also be responsible for managing the nursery's operations, maintaining policies and procedures, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that it is aligned with the nursery's goals and objectives.
  • Nursery Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff supervision, recruitment, and training.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent childcare services.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, first aid, and emergency procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children's development, staff attendance, and occupancy levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in nursery management or a similar role.
  • Qualifications: NVQ level 3 qualification or above in Early Years.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED requirements.
