Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Magdalen Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of childcare professionals to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff
- Manage the nursery's operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OFSTED standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and OFSTED requirements
- OFSTED-recognized level 3 qualification or above in Early Years
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
