Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Magdalen Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading our team of childcare professionals and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met and their children receive the best possible care.
  • Manage the nursery's resources, including staff, budget, and facilities, to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
  • Hold an Ofsted-recognized level 3 qualification or above in Early Years.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
